Here are some of the summer projects that STiMers participate in.

Central Asia with InterVarsity

This project is a lingua-cultural exchange in an area with extremely little access to the gospel. STiMers have been building relationships with college students here and sowing seeds since 1996.

Mexico City with LAM's Spearhead

Spearhead has been serving in Mexico City since 1971. STiMers have been joining them since the early 90's. You will be adopted by a Mexican family and you will learn Spanish through intensive classes and the everyday conversations of full cultural immersion. You will serve in a local church or ministry under Mexican leadership--meeting real needs through incarnational ministry.

InterVarsity Urban Treks to Manila or Kolkata

STiMers have been doing Urban Treks since 2003. While on the Global Urban Trek, you'll live in slum communities in Manila or Kolkata. While there, you'll volunteer your time in service ministries alongside the poor of those communities--seeking to love the poor as Jesus does. Participants will be asked to seriously consider long-term service to the poor.

Edge Projects with Pioneers

Pioneers is a long-term sending organization with excellent summer projects all over the world. Spend 4-8 weeks living among a people with little to no access to the gospel. Participate in cross-culture ministry opportunities with experienced field missionaries. STiMers have served in Thailand, India, Japan, and other countries.
